Photographer's Note
I took a walk yesterday evening near ma home at the sports field, where there is a soccer field. I played with DOF taking many pictures of the goal's net. Here is one.
PP : Turn B&W, add contrast, used the "render light" filter of PS.
I didn't work on the noise because I like the natural effect as it is.

I like your version of the knot. And that you didn't make it noiseless. Somehow this digital grain adds to the sharpness of the knot. Very nice matting, also.

The grain and the hard contrast adds up to a classic B&W graphic, the grain adds a lot of life to the graphic qualities of this shot. The short DOF and good bokeh are a delight to look at.

I've missed your work lately. Maybe too much to see after too long vacation...
That excellent focus and moody, elegant B&W! How could we think about an ordinary soccer field net? :o)
Very well observed Isabelle...

Very artistic shot Louy; I like the B&W mode you have choosen for this composition; The node in the center very sharp and the others completely blur, the DOF is excellent.

Essai très concluant Isabelle ! La profondeur de champs est très marquée et la structure de la composition est très intéressante. Je pense que tu as bien fait de laisser le grain, ça donne de la consistance à l'image.
