Bien vue cette jeune pousse qui assure la continuité de la vie, serait-ce une allusion à la situation actuelle ? Après cette triste période de pandémie, la vie repartira ... Pour la photo bonne netteté et effet de contraste.

Nicolas, the young fir tree is growing inside an old rotten stump. I wonder if it will find enough soil to develop it here. Excellent nature observation. Fine colors, good sharpness, amitié.

Life goes on!
The old wood must be providing nourishment for the new sapling.
I cannot help thinking how good it was to have three tree stumps, together; they make such a good compositional number.
Excellent details of the textures on the stumps.

It's lovely to witness the birth of a new tree from one of the already deceased old ones. Nature is fantastic, and once again you have given us proof of that. As so often in an artistic and appealing way.

Nature keeps its pace even after the tree was chopped.
Beautiful new thread grows. Also, I think there is a nest built near the stump, new life as well.

Bonjour Nicolas,

This just shows that whatever happens, life can return somewhere. Here some trees have been cut down and all that remains of them are some dead rotting stumps - but, yet, a young sapling shoots forth with fresh bright green foliage!

A lovely shot which shows that life will continue despite adversity. Good light, fine natural colours, perfect exposure and excellent detail and sharpness.

A good photo of the young trees growing out of the old tree trunks, seeing this gives hope that new life can come from old things. The bright green colours are also nicely illuminated.
