Photographer's Note
After boarding the wrong tram in Geneva, I found myself on the left bank of Rhône river, but significantly apart from the streets I was familiar with.
Before recovering safe territory by strolling upstream, I captured this magnificent building near a tramway stop called "Stand".
According to TE member UlfE, it is the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices, in 19th centrury used to provide Geneva with water, now a site for cultural events.

Hi Sven Erich,
It is the Bâtiment des Forces Motrices. Today a venue for cultural activities, but orinally constructed in the 19th Century provide Geneva with water. It a nice nocturnal photo you have taken. Your perspective and compostion is very good. TFS and have a nice weekend!
Kind regards,
Ulf
