La Berra 360°, a photo from Fribourg, West

Photographer's Note

The top of Berra culminates with 1719 m. This is not high, but it is the first of the large hills which separates the Swiss plate from the Préalpes. You can reach the top from different way. Personally this day I am climbed since Monsoflo, the departure of a small ski resort to the top of the village of La Roche. One needs surroundings 1h30 to arrive at the top. And there the landscape is splendid. You can judge some by yourself. On the large version, I added the name of the visible mountains. You will make me the remark on the 4 vertical bars which cut the photograph. Have a look on the WS which I added you will understand why. I tried to remove them, but after several tests not conclude, I left them, and I decided to put the WS for the explanations to you.

Salut Jacques.
Superbe ce panneau depuis la Berra.
Et je me suis aussi posé des questions par rapport $ ces bandes noires. Dans la version "petite" j'ai cru que t'avais volontairement implanté ces lignes, puis quand je l'ai ouvert j'ai remarqué que c'était des poteaux et en voyant le ws, j'ai découvert ton pdv et d'où venaient ces armatures.
En tous cas chapeau pour ce très bon pano 360...c'est la classe comme t'as réussi à gérer ca !

This is very nice, Jacques! I love this idea, and may do it myself someday with mountains in my area. I love especially the lovely and interesting foreground of rocks and saturated grasses. The sky gets a bit light at times, but the mountains are very clear. Very nice work!

Je salue bien bas l'artiste, voire le professionnel pour cette superbe réalisation.
Quel travail, quelle patience, quel courage pour obtenir un travail de cette qualité.
J'espère que cette prise de vue sera récompensée comme il se doit compte tenu de la beauté des lieux et du travail que cela représente.

Contente de retrouver sur TE et en plus avec un de tes superbes panoramas!
Bravo pour le réalisation technique de celui-ci d'abord pour les prises de vue sur le terrain et ensuite pour l'assemblage et le rajout des noms sur la version large. Comme tout le monde j'ai d'abord été intriguée par ces barres noires... heureusement que tu as posté le WS pour nous expliquer!

A part l'abération chromatique due au contre-jour ce panoramique est excellent.
L'exploit mérite son éloge sachant que ce n'est pas si simple à faire ces panos successifs.

Bonjour Jacques,
Impressionant ce pano, j'apprecie l'exposition bien geree ce qui ne doti pas etre evident du tout en 360°, je me posais aussi la question des barres mais apres voir lu la note et vu le WS je comprends maintenant le pourquoi !
Bravo pour la performance technique (et l'effort, ca fait toujours du bien, une petite marche !)

pas mal du tout ce pano de 360°, les 4 barres ne dérangent pas à mon avis, c'est même plutôt original.
On a même droit à l'ombre du photographe... ;-)

Très bonne idée de présentation, pour ma part ces barres noires ne me dérange pas du tout. On peut penser qu'elles marquent les points cardinaux. Les photos sont très intéressantes et bien réalisées. Bonne PDC. Bien joué

You're an inspiration in panorama shooting, Jacques, and this one is no exception. It's a beautiful capture of the 'lower Alps', where most of the summits are higher than any in Sweden. You managed well with the Autumn saturation and the low sun - creating a difficult light in the valley mist - is really well handled. And it's funny how you caught your own shadow under the 'thingy' - giving away some of the explanation. The inclusion of the closer terrain is essential for this panorama. Very well done!

Concerning the four bars - if not possible to clone, I'd be tempted to clean them; making them all black and strait.

Hi Jacques, An impressive panorama shot with informative notes and educational large post. Thanks for naming out all the mountain peaks. It is an impressive shot series putting together. I am especially like the view of the frame with your shadow in the picture while we can see the sun in another frame. A very well taken shot. Thanks for sharing.
