Photographer's Note

Hans Ruedi Giger, born at Chur, 1940, is an Academy Award-winning Swiss painter, sculptor, and set designer best known for his design work on the film Alien. I adore his surreal, nightmarish dream-scapes, his representation of human bodies and machines in a cold, interconnected relationship, described as "biomechanical", his furniture designs and of course his "Alien". Giger museum is a must to see. Opposite the museum is a bar designed by the artist himself. Although it's forbidden to take photos inside the museum, you can find similar artworks at the bar. This figure is from his famous "Birth Machine". Behind is the house that is used as the museum and the building with arched windows is the bar. You can check out the websites below for more info about his work. In the WS you can see two more shots.

Eserlerini yukarida verdigim sitelerde bulabilirsiniz. WS'ta iki fotograf daha var.
