Photographer's Note
The Finsteraarhorn (4274 m) is the highest peak in the Bernese Alps. It is seen here from Bachalpsee, a small lake above Grindelwald, which is quite easy to get to using a cable car and a well formed walking path. The lake surface is covered by broken slabs of floating ice. I had to wait for a break in the clouds to get the peak in view.

Hello Vincent - This is a special mountain view. I find the steep slope and shards of ice in the water to have a really bold graphic quality which I like very much. The sharp jagged peaks and the billowing clouds complete a great image. Best regarsd Rosemary

Hello Vincent
Magnificent picturesque mountain scape but burrrrrrrrr! makes me feel very cold. Love the emerald blue colour of the lake with the floating shards of ice. Fantastic capture and well framed. TFS
Cheers Peter
