A Swiss flag crossing the Rhine in Basel, many times a day. Attached to it is a ferry boat, and the flag drags it across the river, powerful as it is.

Well thank you, Johannes! And I guess I like this very much, it has a little Swissness in it with the flag on the side but many other happy colors and this is how it should be. I celebrate tonight with my Californian friends ... should be FUN! Very nice photo by the way, I like this a lot. Minimal with the necessary elements to make it work. Interesting framing using the angles well. The coloured flags stand out so well against the water and draw the eye nicely to the Swiss flag.

Very interesting photo, as the different flags may be a symbol of the several peoples and languages of Switzerland, including the many immigrants there.

Faina compozitia cu diagonala ascendenta. Si cromatica imi place. Din ce in ce mai bine... (Si pozele nu mai sunt ...prea mari...) :)

Funny image centered on these flags, the swiss one is in minority here, for the rest the image could be called "Switzerland welcomes the dalai-lama" !
