Photographer's Note

It was the gate to Tel Aviv, at the Zurich Airport. Though in a hurry myself, I was taken by the reflective surface of the floor as the Orthodox Jewish man was proceeding to catch his plane.

The news from Tehran about the utterly shameful Holocaust-questioning conference--affront to anything one could call civilized as well as to deep-seated traditional Iranian values--in which Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad claimed that Israel's days were numbered, shocked me to no end. As I was looking through some old shots this evening, I found this one and it seemed to remind me of this piece of news--one Israeli man, returning home.

The alternative version is in the Workshop.
