From poor students ...:
The meeting point of the two valleys that allow access, from Zürich and from the Lake of Constance, to the canton of one thousand peaks above 3000 meters.
One of the many lies that poor students have to learn is that these valleys were carved by glaciers.
In fact they look now almost exactly as the day after they "changed" (1) from plains to valleys.
Notes
(1) These valleys only changed in the eyes of the observer, since the only thing that changed that day were the surroundings.
(2) Ironically, the valley on the left, which leads to Zürich, contains a 150 m deep real valley, covered by water today. But again, that real valley was created the same time as these mountains. In a matter of seconds.

Hi Francis!
I've been there in 2005 and saw those mountains on my way from Zurich to Liechtenstein! Like all Switzerland, it's really beautiful and your picture really shows that to us!
