Photographer's Note

I spotted this fearsome looking creature in Kiruna Train Station, which services the iron ore mine to the port of Narvik in Norway, and also has a branch line heading south to Stockholm, although I chose to fly this sector.

The taxidermist has done a good job. More information on Wolverines here (scroll between 'Arctic fox' and 'lynx'). I never saw any wild animals in Sweden so this was a surprise.

They are primarily a north Sweden animal, but in recent years with the return of wolves to central Sweden, they have been seen there, too. They like to scavenge the leftovers from whatever scraps the wolves leave behind after eating.
