Photographer's Note

This is the Ulva Mill about 7 kilometers north of Uppsala. A mill has been located here since the 14th century or earlier. The current mill house is from the 18th century. The mill was operated until 1963 when the last miller sold it to the municipality of Uppsala. The fall is about 4 meters high and the highest in the Fyris River.

Today it is a recreation area with shops, café, restaurants and crafts.
