The four-banded longhorn beetle, in Swedish "fyrbandad blombock" (Leptura quadrifasciata) is a beetle of the long horn family. Longhorn beetles are characterized by extremely long antennae. The family is large, with over 20,000 species all over the world.In Sweden there are about 115 species of long horn beetles. The four-banded longhorn beetle is quite common all over Sweden. It is black with four yellow transverse band on the eleytra. It thrives as an adult on medowsweet and other white flowers Where It Is feeding pollen and nectar.
