Photographer's Note
This little gravel dirt road connects the local farmer in the village Danshyttan with the rest of the village, ending with a tiny bridge over a lovely creek.
The scene felt a bit moody the other day, and that is what I tried to communicate in the image.

I like the mood indeed, and one wonders should we traverse on the road deep inside the darkness.
Great image.

Hello Goran,
A pity that the sun not shines between the trees, but fog is also a nice player.
Nice perspective and depth picture.
I am a very great forest fan.
Excellent composition, lovely presentation too, TFS.
Best regards,

Hello Goran,
this is a superb image, well arranged, suggestive and captivating. The bright gravel road looks attractive and inviting but the sight of the pitch dark tunnel it leads to makes you stop and think. The canopy of vegetation frames this simple but fascinating scenery and doesn't offer much comfort in the menacing ambience. The heavy sky, discerned through the foliage, is imposing and scary too. The monochrome treatment is magnificent, you've used the contrasting tones strategically. I like very much how the textures stand out. This picture is like a psychological challenge that makes you think. Great work, congratulations and thank you!
All the best, have a great evening,
Ourania

Hi Goran
J'aime ce chemin de terre blanche qui s'enfonce dans le tunnel des arbres, sombre , inquiétant, une atmosphère particulière rendue par le choix du N/B, Superbe
Belle soirée

Hello Goran
Don't know how I missed this when you posted it. Come to think of it, I've been away for several weeks, and haven't been on TE much until a few days ago. This is a lovely photograph, which absolutely succeeds in conveying the mood you were after. The management of shadows and highlights is masterly and the toning is just right. Let's keep posting monochromes, and who cares about the points!
Regards
Will
