Photographer's Note
In the week of midsummer, the longest days and shortest nights of the year. Even as far south as Stockholm the night is not darker than sunset dusk. This picture is taken at about 11 pm. It is a view from the east side of Stockholm looking NW just after sunset. The tower is the TV-tower of Stockholm "Kaknästornet" and the boat just left the harbour at Fjäderholmarna. I was left waiting for the ferry.

The boat, the wake, the two buoys and the tower adds life to this composition and makes the sunset worthwhile.
PS: nice sharpening!

I see you get credit from Torben for your sharpening, Ebbe, then it must be exquisite... ;o) You've created a nice composition well rendering the beautiful Stockholm archipelago Summer's night! I especially like the surges after the boat and how you've positioned it and the TV-tower. Also the intimation of colors in the low light is good and so is the hint of a strait continuing right in front of the tower. The sky is perfect and I'm almost able to sense the smell of the water. It doesn't get better - thanks!
