Photographer's Note

This is not the third part of this summer's public art exhibition in Stockholm. It may look like the artists Christo and Jeanne-Claude could have been here to wrap Stockholm cathedral (Storkyrkan) in white fabric, like they did with the German Parliament or the Pont Neuf of Paris. But it's just the Cathedral covered with scaffolding and canvas during restoration.

Christo and Jeanne-Claude are both dead anyway, so they are above suspicion.

But among the several photos I took on one of my walks from Södermalm island to Gamla stan (Stockholm's Old Town) recently, three showed public works coincidentally looking to me like public art. The Cathedral in Gamla stan wrapped in canvas was one of them, two more are shown in the WS.
