Photographer's Note

A view of the old town, Gamla stan, of Stockholm. The "colours added" are parts of the preparations for the construction of a new tunnel for trains under the central parts of the city.
To the left is Riddarholmen (Knights' islet) with the royal burial church from the 13th century. To the right is the major section of the old town, "The city between the bridges", with the cathedral of Stockholm, built in various stages from the 15th century and onwards. For several centuries it was the royal coronation church.

I had planned to continue showing black & white pictures from Asia from the early 1970's, but because of problems with my scanner I will have to wait a couple of weeks.
