Photographer's Note


So many crosses and stones. Different colours, shapes, flowers... They are symbols to the ones still living up there. To quite all the people who saw them, they are almost the same...

But to some, one is much more important than the others. It tells a story. The story of the one burried below them, but still present in their heart.

This picture was made at Skogskyrkogården, in the southern part of Stockholm. It is the biggest cimetery in Sweden, and one of the 12 swedish places into the Unesco's World Heritage Center. One of the very few architectural realisations from the 20th century into the WHC.
