Through the narrow Stromsund stands Stigfjorden in connection with the Skagerrak. Stigfjorden is a shallow fjord, the depth does not exceed 23 meters. The annual Tjörn Around - regatta enters the mouth at Skåpesund Bridge in Stig Fjord easternmost part." Wikipedia
Stigfjorden is a fjord between two large islands situated off the west Swedish coast, with extensive shallow waters and a Zostera-covered clay sea-floor. The islands have well-managed coastal meadows with a saltmarsh character and some forest, mostly deciduous and dominated by Quercus. It is an important area for passage waterbirds and waders. Human activities include boating, swimming, fishing, and grazing for conservation purposes.
