Photographer's Note
I know people hate reposted photos here. Why should I comment on the same photo again? Don’t worry, I won’t be offended if you don’t 😊 It is simply my perfectionism. Fis2 told me that the color of the sky is not entirely right in this photo, he uploaded his workshop which encouraged me to look into that closer again.
It is complicated. After I bought my present camera a year ago, I had some issues with the sky turning slightly too green. My family laughs at me because I ask them this question so often: “Do you think this sky is too green?” I have figured out how to make it right but in the photos which I took through the window of the bus the problem started to appear again. Luckily, I found a way to properly correct it while editing the raw file into jpg. There is a nice option of shifting the blue tones from green sea color to dark blue. This is what I did here. The color of the sky has now the green hue removed, while the other colors were not affected. I cut is a bit wider as well. I am sorry if I bore you, but it was one of my favourite shots from Timanfaya and I could not leave it in a state which I thought was not optimal.
Original Note:
Timanfaya National Park was established around the volcanically most active part of Lanzarote during the eruptions in 1730 and 1736. The access to the park is strictly regulated. As discussed under previous uploads from Lanzarote, the main way you can experience the park is by coach. I think the coach tour is a great idea as long as the bus could stop in few points to really get a feeling of the place and have a chance to take photos. Alternatively, the buses should be open air buses and not coaches, that would allow to take better photos too.
I have first heard about Timanfaya National Park in the beginning of this century. At that time, I lived in California and I was fascinated by amazing national parks of the American Southwest. I bought a great guidebook to them made by National Geographic. Fantastic book. I thought, so pity that there are no books like that for the Europe. Interestingly I found one but: it was published in the UK so it was very much biased focusing mainly on the UK national parks and only shortly mentioning national parks in other countries. The photos and maps were rubbish as opposed to the book from National Geographic. Anyway, that was the first time I read about this National Park. It reminded me the Haleakala National Park which I have hiked on Hawaiian island of Maui. Later on, I was very much surprised by darek1978 who told me that you can only visit this national park by coach. Yes, this is sadly true.
This photo was taken through the window of a moving bus. What made me laugh out loud was a sign inside the bus which said that flash photography is prohibited.

Dobrej nocy.

Hello Mariusz,
I remember your earlier post of this scenery and compared both pictures.
In your reposted photo the sky is a little darker blue but I couldn't find anything green in your first post.
However, I never felt that I had any form of colour blindness.
For the rest, what I wrote then remains.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Mariusz
If you can only go up into Haleakala National Park by bus that has only happened since September 2019 when I drove up to the crater. They had a booking system for early visits.
Another great volcanic photo and the blue is fine.
cheers

Good morning Mariusz,
Wonderful moon-face landscape terrain.
Different tones of brown and gray contrast with the blue sea and sky.
Great capture from a high spot.
Have a nice new day,

Hi Mariusz.
I think this wide panorama shows the most beautiful point of the park route, at least it is the one that I like the most and I have it practically the same, in its day I will put it in my gallery, ideal the color tones and perfect the game of lights and shadows, a good sky too.
Very well done. Love it.
Have a great day.
Very best regards, my friend.
Luis.

Hello Mariusz,
I think the colour is a different shade of blue and slightly darker and seeing it now, is perhaps more pleasing but I would not have worried having seen the earlier version; it is fine to me.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

I check the original version and I didn't find nothing so different, maybe I should to have them side by side...
no matter, this is a fabulous image.
my first digital camera sometimes had a kind of blue in the sky that was something turquoise, very bad for me.
take care

Ciao Mariusz,it seems to me that you are a little too obsessed with perfection, for me your photos are already the best qualitatively speaking on this site, even if sometimes they lack imagination. So I still congratulate you for this view .... revisited, but for me the first one was also excellent, it reminded me of the Moroccan desert even if the colors are different. Have a nice weekend and thanks,Luciano

Hello Mariusz,
Following your activity with a time, I have not noticed the double post. I love the scenery. I wonder if the color of the sky was off because of the glass pane of the bus window.
Regards,
MT

Hi Mariusz
The beauty view of this perspective. I like the shadow of the clouds on the mountain. Good resolution and exposure. The color of the sky is good at work.
