Photographer's Note

The hummingbird hawk-moth (Macroglossum stellatarum) is a species of moth...

... but it flies so fast!

Hardly turning in a curve, but moreso straight lines. Here; there; left; right; back; forwards.... then off!

Here is this majestic hummingbird hawk-moth in flight, searching for nectar and pollen to feed upon.

They stay still for seconds with straight probosis, feeding and gathering energy, until they search for the next flower..

From the mountains of Mallorca.

Catch one with a curl??!
