Photographer's Note

It seems you are already bored with Sevilla so let's try with Cordoba. I saw many beautiful Spanish cities and I liked them all but maybe Cordoba was the loveliest. I stayed in a hostel just right by Mezquita and close to Juderia, so I could walk for hours in the maze of narrow streets between white houses adorned with flowers. Marvelous! . My tip - if you ever go to Cordoba, go in May to see the Patios Festival. It is something incredible, just small heavens. Of course, it is crowded but one can survive.

Of course, the main attraction of Cordoba iz Mezquita. You can see many many photos if its interior but when you finally enter and se it in your own eyes, you are just speechless. There isn't anything like that in the world.
When Charles V visited the cathedral built inside the mosque, he was displeased by the result and famously commented, "they have taken something unique in all the world and destroyed it to build something you can find in any city". Well maybe not in any city. The cathedral is also beautiful.
This is the view of the ceiling of the cathedral. On both sides you can see magnificent organ. I love organ music and and my unfulfilled dream was to play it but I have never any occasion. Pity there was no one playing in this cathedral, I am sure it must be fantastic experience.

Hand held, it was not possible to use a tripod.
