Photographer's Note

San Nicolás de Tolentino, also known as "La Aldea" is a village surrounded by hills covered with cacti and bamboo groves situated in the southwest of the island of Gran Canaria. The municipality of San Nicolas de Tolentino is the largest agricultural center of the island. With the exception of some old colonial buildings, the town only has architectural interest of the Church of San Nicolás built in 1972 on the site of an ancient chapel of the eighteenth century.
