Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer another beautiful view taken from Mount Santa Tecla, where we see the Miño river at its mouth, on the border between Spain and Portugal. On the opposite the beach at the bottom Caminha and Moledo villa belonging to the brother country, in foreground pine Camposancos beach and shore, I hope you like this view. Then a few letters on Mount Santa Tecla.

Mount Santa Tecla (in Galician Santa Tegra) is an elevation of 341 m above sea level located in the far southwest of Galicia, in the municipality of La Guardia.
From the top of this mountain, the steep slopes, overlooks the mouth of the river Miño, the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of Portugal and Galicia, so it is a strategic enclave inhabited long before the settlement of the Castro de Santa Tegra, as testify petroglyphs found there more than 2,000 years old.

In it, there is the church of Santa Tecla and near the temple door a stone tablet with many brands of stone, placed to mark the festival of 1979 in honor of the poveiros of Póvoa de Varzim (Portugal). Apparently, this is a reproduction in stone of the original wooden door of the chapel, containing those marks / acronyms, is to emphasize its similarity to existing churches, monasteries, etc.. in medieval Europe.
