Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I present another partial view of the pretty village of Zahara de la Sierra and part of its countryside, this villa is part of the villages in the province of Cádiz that form the "route of the white villages". Hope you like it, then some letters about its history.

Zahara de la Sierra is a village in the province of Cadiz, part of the Sierra de Cádiz. Its history goes back to ancient times, but it will be in the Middle Ages when it becomes important to become a major Muslim enclave, conquered by the Christians in the process of conquest of the Kingdom of Granada. Today is one of the most significant of the Route of the White Villages.
