Photographer's Note

Painted walls, windows to other worlds, dreams of concrete, imaginary places ... Montera street in Madrid, is a dividing-wall, which has been used as a canvas for an urban painting. From one point of view, the view is amazing, almost cheating, you think you're looking through time to a more classical Madrid ... I would say in this image only Heaven help us know where the fiction starts and where it is real ... The day was gray and the sky gray-white... but on the walls of the imagined city, is the blue sky. And I wonder what is thinking that women, frozen like stone, looking out from the balcony one day and another, hour by hour, like a silent witness of each moment of the day?
