Photographer's Note


The Casa Vicens is a modernist building, the first major project of the architect Antoni Gaudí after his graduation as an architect in 1878. It was built between 1883 and 1888. It is located in the Carolines street, number 24, the Gracia district of Barcelona, ​​Spain.
On the date on which the building was constructed, Gracia was still an independent town of Barcelona and owner of Town Hall itself, with the category of village, although today is a neighborhood in the city.
In July 2005, the Casa Vicens was declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO.
