Photographer's Note
Continuing my ballsy theme, but this one going back to our Spanish trip last summer.
---
THIS PICTURE was shot outside Bilbao's landmark Guggenheim Museum. More balls!
---
GUGGENHEIM BILBAO is one of three Guggenheim musea, the other ones being in New York (the original one) and Venice. The building was designed by Frank Gehry and played a major role in the revivial of this old industrial city.
The museum houses an impressive collection which includes most usual suspects of modern and contemporary art.
If you visit Bilbao and are interested in art, don't forget to visit the city's regular Museo de Bellas Artes. Collectionwise we enjoyed that one even more.

Hi Benny,
Pile of balls on top of each other looks kind of unnatural even though it is obvious that they are tightly connected. Fascinating artwork in front of this famous architectural masterpiece. Sidelight is just right.

Goedenavond Benny,
Goed foto werk, bedankt.
Prettige avond,
John

Hallo Benny,

Hello Benny, I was fascinated by the multiple reflections there:

Hello Benny,
Seeing this much wider view of the sculpture confirms my original thoughts, that it resembles the one by Anish Kapoor, once displayed in London.
This is a fine, pin-sharp photograph of the sculpture, perfectly backed by the details of the ultra modern museum.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)

Hi Benny
You might be surprised to learn that the ancient Egyptians sometimes did a 'head' count of enemy Libyan troops dispatched by cutting off their 'crown jewels'. An inscription on the walls of Medinet Habu claims 25,OOO were souvenired as trophies after the battle between Ramses III and the Libyans.

Anyway, nice repetition of the spheres, with good sharpness and nice reflections. The blue sky makes a good backdrop. Tfs!

Hi Benny
Fascinating image of this exhibit/piece of art; the architectural would be good on their own, but the addition of the reflective multiple balls as primary object adds so much more. The only thing I can see wrong with this cool shot is that I didn't take it! Congrats
Best regards

Hi Benny,
A beautiful photo with a great emphasis on textures of different materials. The composition is excellent with the museum exterior in the background. Excellent colour and exposure.

Hello Benny,
You found balls all over the place. ;-) This shiny balls compliment the modern facade of the Guggenheim very nicely. I like all the shine, and also the bit of shadow and reflection. Take care!

Hi Benny,
Very famous museum. I love the architecture by Frank Gehry. But with th epresence of the balls you manage yet a very original composition with this extraordinary architecture. They add another unexpected and yet fitting to the steel theme element here.
Excellent capture!
It made me think of a Christmas tree but I see it was July :)
