Bilbao - centro culturale Alhóndiga.
si, lo so che avrei dovuto iniziare con una foto del Guggenheim - d'altronde senza il museo progettato da Frank Gehry molti turisti non saprebbero neanche dove trovare Bilbao sulla cartina -, pero' essendo vietato fare foto all'interno del museo ed essendo l'esterno stra-famoso, mi piace mostrare qualcos'altro di questa interessante citta' basca.
la piscina sul tetto della Alhóndiga (una ex-cantina trasformata in centro culturale) e' sicuramente una delle cose piu' interessanti che io abbia visto ultimamente. il compito di trasformare l'edificio in quello che e' ora (e cioe' un centro multimediale, con cinema, biblioteche, ristoranti, una palestra e una piscina) e' toccato a Philippe Starck, che tra l'altro si e' occupato anche di arredare gli esterni.

Frank Gehry's Guggenheim Museum is definitely what put Bilbao on the cultural map a few years back and I should probably start with a photo of this incredible building. however, since it is forbidden to take pictures inside the museum and since its exterior has been shot in so many ways, I think I'll start with a different picture from my weekend in Bilbao.
the Alhóndiga is a former wine depot which has been transformed into a cultural and leisure centre by Philippe Starck - it hosts a cinema, two restaurants, a multimedia library on three levels, a fitness studio and a sun terrace with enclosed swimming pool, which is what you see in the photo.
I took the picture from the entrance hall, looking up at the roof. too bad we were not admitted to have a look - it was 38C and a swim would have been great :)

una come te non può perdersi dietro alle banalità, per cui, giustamente, ci regali questa meraviglia.
Una foto ben pensata e ben realizzata, un grande impatto visivo che incuriosisce e affascina.

Delightful angle, the fact that the symmetric framing contains non-symmetrical items is clever.

It is always a pleasure to see new things (especially shots full of life) instead of the nth angle of a well-known building. :-)

Interessante effettivamente di vedere una foto presa a Bilbao che non è una foto del Guggenheim.
Superba e anche divertente questa foto. Hai ben fatto di guardare la partita di destra che rende questa foto grafica ed ancora più elegante cosi.
Il fatto che il ragazzo porta occhiali e che sono più scuri del resto rende questa scena divertente. :)
E l'inquadrattura nera fa pensare che si prepara un dramma. Dove è lo squalo...
La prima foto che sono riuscita ad avere su 1x.com era una foto del Guggenheim (esteriore) allora mi ricorda buone memorie. Ho preso anche foto all'interno ma non oso molto pubblicarle. Se ti interessa, puoi vedere qui le foto che avevo prese al Guggenheim. ;)

quanto è magnifca questa foto, e quanto è buffa! già le due finestre appaiono come un paio di occhiali - modello telefunken :-)- trovarne poi un altro paio sul naso del ragazzo che guarda attraverso .. due occhiali, quindi, fa veramente sorridere. bello anche la mano allineata coi piedi dell'altro ragazzo; e intanto nell'altra "lente" nulla appare. mi piacciono le foto che raccontano, e questa lo fa, come fosse una pagina di Gianni Rodari :-)

complimenti per la tua interessante galleria e per questo splendido scatto, a prima impressione angoscia un pò...ma forse solo a me perchè soffro un pò di claustrofobia mentre non ho nessun problema con le altezze e i grandi spazi...
La luce è ben gestita e la manina con il piedino appoggiati al vetro fanno la differenza, uno scatto che si presta a molte interpretazioni, ottimo il taglio e l'esposizione....
