Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I offer another view of this small but interesting village of the Basque Country, I hope you like it, then some letters about the town.

Pasajes (in Basque and officially Pasaia) is a locality and Spanish municipality located in the northeastern part of the region of San Sebastián, in the province of Guipúzcoa, autonomous community of the Basque Country. It is a natural bay that has been known to take advantage of what it was like centuries ago.

Pasajes is a singular municipality and is formed by four towns such as San Pedro, San Juan, Ancho and Trincherpe around the estuary (that is, the fluvial channel of the Oyarzun River - invaded by the sea) and the port of the same name. The municipality is inextricably linked to these two elements.

Two of the districts of Pasajes (Trincherpe and Pasajes Ancho) form an urban continuum with the eastern neighborhoods of the city of San Sebastián, being in practice an extension of it. As a clear example of this are streets such as Azkuene (Trincherpe) or Eskalantegi (Wide), in which one sidewalk belongs to San Sebastián and the other to Pasajes.
