Photographer's Note

One thing i love during those pride parades is that it mixes all kind of people, in spite of their sex, their age, their sexual orientation, their belief. They all come to enjoy and make a stand that they want a better world where all men and women should have equal rights and be given respect.

This old man came to the parade to sing and play the harmonica in solidarity with the law that was passed on June 30th by the Spanish parliament to authorise same sex marriage and adoption by gays and lesbians. He sang a song about how far his country had gone since the dictatureship of Franco till now.

This explains why i wanted to pay a special tribute to this man who paves the way for those who are only animated by fear and hatred... When the whole thing should simply boil down to mutual respect and love... So, please Maestro, let's play the music for hope!
