Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues, today I present a photo of Mount Santa Tecla, taken from the beach of the village of Caminha in Portugal, on other occasions I have expressed some views taken from the observation deck located on this mountain in this photo are not sees them viewpoint, is covered by the cloud, I hope you like it, then a few letters over Mt.

Mount Santa Tecla (Galician Santa Tegra) is an elevation of 341 m above sea level located in the extreme southwest of Galicia, in the town of La Guardia.

From the top of this mountain, steep slopes, the mouth of the Minho River, the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of Portugal and Galicia dominates, so is a strategic enclave inhabited long before the settlement of Castro de Santa Tegra, as testify petroglyphs found there more than 2,000 years old.

In the church of Santa Tecla and is near the temple door a stone tablet with many quarry marks, placed to mark the festival of 1979 in honor of Póvoa de Varzim poveiros (Portugal). Apparently, this is a reproduction in stone of the original wooden door of the chapel, containing those marks / acronyms; it is worth noting their similarity to those in churches, monasteries, etc.. in medieval Europe.
