Photographer's Note

Hello friends and colleagues , today I offer you a beautiful view taken from Mount Santa Tecla, where we see the Miño river almost at its mouth , on the border between Spain and Portugal. On the opposite bank of the villa belonging to the country Seixas brother in the nearest shore Camposancos Galician villa , where you embark to cross the river and visit the Portuguese villas , hope you like this view. Then a few letters on Mount Santa Tecla.

Mount Santa Tecla ( Galician Santa Tegra ) is an elevation of 341 m above sea level located in the extreme southwest of Galicia, in the town of La Guardia.
From the top of this mountain , steep slopes , the mouth of the Minho River , the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains of Portugal and Galicia dominates , so is a strategic enclave inhabited long before the settlement of Castro de Santa Tegra , as testify petroglyphs found there more than 2,000 years old .

In the church of Santa Tecla and is near the temple door a stone tablet with many quarry marks , placed to mark the festival of 1979 in honor of Póvoa de Varzim poveiros (Portugal ) . Apparently , this is a reproduction in stone of the original wooden door of the chapel, containing those marks / acronyms; it is worth noting their similarity to those in churches , monasteries, etc. . in medieval Europe .
