Nice shot of an old town street. It might have helped the framing to have included some of the street level view of a pedestrian or two.

Lighted by the central position of the light, and the choice to have the upper part of the street !
I respect these choices but am sure that this will be the occasion for a fair discussion about rules of composition.
I am persuaded it is a good creation with this idea and I like it.
I propose a WS to reinforce by mainly suppression of the sky above the light.

What a nice lane with your very good POV here!
the wall lamp post is great here,it shows itself strongly,the details of the street/lane is interesting,and the light well controlled and a nice result you reached at all which well contrasted,too.

Hi Knut. This is a great shot of the old street. The colours are rich and the imagery clear and crisp. The double lamp effect is very effective. The shot is unusual in that you do not show the street itself, which is adventurous; yet you have pulled it off nicely with the strong show of buildings on both sides of the street. Well done. You must be about ready to leave for Turkey...
