The great stone bridge, a photo from Girona, Catalonia

Photographer's Note

This is the most famous view of the town of Camprodón, in the North side of Catalunya, located to 954m of altitude at the foot of the Eastern side of the Pyrenean mountains (A great rocky formation, full of high mountains, the majority near and over 3.000 m. height, between Spain and France, that goes almost from the Atlantic Sea to the Mediterranean Sea).

Here you can see the beautiful stone bridge over the river Ritort, affluent of the river Ter (very known in the Catalan Pyrenees).
Camprodón, is also known as "La esmeralda del Pirineu / The emerald of the Pyrenees", because it is a very quiet place that invites to take a walk.

This shot was made in a very cloudy day, and very late in the evening, two hours later I did more shots of the same bridge, I will post one of them soon.

Great photo, I like very much it's greenish grey tint. The subtle variations of light in that grey sky are marvelous. The rendering of the bridge stones is excellent. Finally the composition is very well balanced.

Hi Jaume, This is an excellent composition. The bridge is beautiful, yet, there is another beautiful scene framed by the bridge -- a picture in picture. Well done.

Beautiful composition!
The contrast is really good. There are many beautiful elements in the picture, the trees, the water and reflections under the bridge and the small town in the background have all helped bring out the true beauty of the bridge. Great perspective and angle.

La foto és preciosa ! Has fet servir un punt de vista molt interessant, i puc diferenciar perfectament les tres distàncies. Els reflexes en el aigüa són una passada i, és curiços, l'aigüa en una zona està molt tranquil.la i en una altra fa remolins...

El que veig és un predomini de color blavós-verdós en tota la foto ... Però és magnífica. Gràcies!

Fantástica foto Jaume, es como si hubiera sido pintado a mano inquiriendo en la mejor perspectiva y con una increíble composición.
El reflejo, el agua, el ángulo de disparo...
todo esta perfectamente situado.
Un buen trabajo con un buen resultado.
Tus últimas fotos parecen cuadros, muy buenas.

Hola, Jaume. Esta imagen es fantástica. Una composición excelente, de gran nitidez ,con una envolvente atmósfera y una luz suave magnífica.
Las dos visiones del puente (diurna y nocturna) son impresionantes. Ha hecho un gran trabajo, es un lugar maravilloso.
