Photographer's Note

This a different view from, perhaps, the most famous street in Barcelona: "Las Ramblas".

I took this view, as my previous post, from the top of the Colon statue.

This is an amazing photo, from a very different point of view. I have been on the street looking up at the statue of Christopher Colombus (pointing east), but never imagined what Las Ramblas and the Barcelona cityscape would look like from up there. And it is beautiful. Thank you!

Great view! From here, we can see how wide La Rambla actually is at the bottom end of the street, but also we can see it getting narrower as it winds it's way up towards Catalunya.

hola oscar, que paso con el tamaño? Personalmente me gusto mas la aterior. creo que aca le falto un poco de definicion. De todos modos pasamos a conocer una vista de este famoso. tfs, gabriel

Otra excelente foto de las ramblas. Muy bien captada y con muy buena perspectiva, una pena que falto un pelin de definición para apreciar mejor el resto de la ciudad.
De todas maneras esta muy buena tu fotografía.

Thank you for making me laugh this morning. "A typical old card with a glamorous girl inside!" Very amusing.
An also thank you for posting a picture of the famous Ramblas. I was there for the Olympics back in 1992, so I am overdue for another visit to refresh my memory. I have never been to the top of the Colon statue before but I will make a note of it. Now that I have seen some of your picture of this great city, I think a trip in may is on the cards. A great aerial long view, and the Las Ramblas meanders into the distance nicely. Great stuff.

Creo que mas de uno habra pensado lo mismo que yo cuando vio esta foto:
"Si , mucha Rambla por aqui,mucha Rambla por alli, ...pero nunca la habia visto asi,desde esta perspectiva"
Parece mentira, pero si me pongo a pensar creo que siempre las he visto ,(a parte de en persona) en fotos de a pie de calle.

Por eso te mereces mas que 2 sonrisas.

Dices que te subiste en la estatua de Colon!!!!!!.... a ver explicate....
