Photographer's Note

Plaša d'Espanya, Barcelona

The Plaša d'Espanya is one of the main squares and traffic junctions in Spain's second largest city. This photo is taken from the top of the Les Arenes building, an old bull fighting ring which is now converted into a shopping centre and cafes. On the roof is a 360 degree balcony that you can pay a small fee to visit and take in the city skyline. The large towers to the side are the Venetian towers, and in the background is the National Palace in which great artworks are displayed to the public (MNAC Gallery). A great vantage to watch the city from.
