Photographer's Note
Scan of a photo I took a few years back of the very beautiful and magical alcázar - a sort of palace crossed with a castle- of one of Spain's finest cities (in my humble opinion), Segovia. I have purposely left in a bit of space to the right to show how flat the surrounding land is, so just imagine the view from inside the alcázar!
It was this place and in particular this photo that made me buy a digital camera because the photo shop ruined the negative of this photo when I went to get extra copies made.
Cropped a tiny bit to the right and top, and brightness adjusted slightly.

Arquitectura magnifica y detalles buenos y interesante, lo vi raramente de este ángulo, Me pareze como una nave de piedra.

For a scanned photo, the vivid depiction of architecture and lack of any evident noise is superb Eduardo. The blue sky helps, of course, and your composition achieves what you intended by showing us how flat the surrounding landscape is. Good work.

Great shot of a very beautiful castle! It reminds me my only visit in Segovia in 1988, many years ago ... it is a very fine city.
Well done, thanks for sharing!

It hard to get a good result from the original with a scanner! Nevertheless, Colors of the castle are well-rendered here. Maybe there is a slight underexposure in the foreground (trees). The choice of your point of view is excellent to highlight this wonderful castle (I would like to be there to make some photos). Good shot, Eduardo.
