Photographer's Note

Albarracin is a picturesque town located a few kilometers from Teruel. The so-called "old town" is a village whose architecture is different from the other villages in the area by the color of the buildings. All buildings in the town (except one) are a characteristic pink color. This is because the walls are painted with lime produced in the area, which contains a lot of iron ore, on oxidation, gives the typical whitewashed pink. Besides the traditional architectural style is preserved, and is not allowed to raise any new building in the village if ignored and not this style is demonstrated by old planes on the site where you want to build many years ago there was a building. The entire town of Albarracin is declared of cultural interest.
