Photographer's Note
The salt pans are just a few miles from Playa Blanca, one of the main tourist areas of Lanzarote. I had always just assumed that salt was white so was surprised at the different colours in the various pans, which do make for an amazing spectacle.
The total area of salt production is nearly half a million square metres. The salt is no longer exported, just used within Lanzarote.

Good note to explain this, and very clear shot which illustrates the various ways in which the salt appears.

Hi Keith,
I have visited salinas on the neighbouring La Palma island, the one which is in news these days. This is my photo of the salinas:

I have to admit it is not easy to take a good photo of them because they are so flat. Maybe from a drone it would be more interesting?
I like your capture due to the multiple colors. The salt itself seems to be more colorful than on La Palma. Although in the shop they had a variety of colors.
Here you also have lovely colors of the sea.
Very well done,
M
