Colors of La Graciosa, a photo from Lanzarote, Canarias

Photographer's Note

This is another photo taken on the Playa de las Conchas, the most beautiful beach on La Graciosa Island, this time towards the volcanic cone, Montaña Bermeja. The bright red color of the volcano became more pronounced this time in the more direct sunlight without clouds. I have a slight satisfaction that my photos from La Graciosa are practically the first photos on TrekEarth from this beautiful island. Most of the shots which are grouped under La Graciosa location, are showing the distant view of the island from the Mirador del Rio on Lanzarote. Only one was taken on La Graciosa previously but it is quite dark so it is hard to learn anything from it. My photos may be the first but I can promise you that they will not be the last. Luis (adramad) visited La Graciosa recently as well, and he will show you another beautiful beach next to a yellow volcanic cone for a change.

You create a nice panorama view with the mountain with red hat in background
I like the black stones in foreground as contrast.

I like how the rough black boulders guide me along the sand all the way to the strangely coloured volcano. I like the simplicity of the composition and the rather amazing contrasts of shapes and colours. Nature once again proved itself the greatest artist. (With some contribution by the photographer.) ;-)

Hello Mariusz,
Yes, this is a gorgeous picture.
Nothing in the photo tells it is taken that close to the Atlantic Ocean. Or taken on the archipelago glorified by sunbathers.
Composition and depth are excellent thanks to the many black rocks of volcanic origin scattered on the beach.
Wonderful with the different colours of beach, mountain, rocks and sky.
The small island lives up to its name.

Hello Mariusz,

These black rocks are what you would expect on a volcanic island. They create a wonderful sense of movement as they guide from the bottom r/h corner, towards the red slopes of the volcano!
The light and colours are excellent, as are the textural details.

Here the black basalt rocks are quite obvious, not that I am a geology expert. Fantastic warm cold colour contrasts with perfect weather and framing. Tfs!

Really strange landscape from Lanzarote. The rusty red mountain dotted with grey volcanic rocks is wonderful and in the foreground we get to see a closer view of those rocks. Desert sand obviously has different origins.

The truth is that you are showing a splendid report of this small island, beautiful this perspective of the golden sand beach, the black volcanic rocks that dot it is a great bonus, while the best closure of the perspective is the fabulous summit of the volcano. with that vermilion color.

P.S. Thank you for talking about my photos of La Graciosa without knowing if they are good, I have not seen them yet.
You will wonder how this is possible, because I will tell you that I am not going to post many more photos of Segovia and the next trip that I cannot leave pending is the one that follows in September 2019.
That I went to Georgia as a country, I have already prepared the selection of photos, but now I have begun to prepare the texts and they are not very easy to search in Spanish.
After this I will skip Galicia and Huesca, to start uploading photos of Lanzarote, but of course we will already be in 2022.
