Impression from Arrecife, a photo from Lanzarote, Canarias

Photographer's Note

I am back to my reportage from Lanzarote. The island made a great impression on me. I expected great volcanic landscapes but I was quite surprised to see so many attractive beaches. The main town of Lanzarote, Arrecife, is probably not the most picturesque spot on the island but I enjoyed my walk there especially taking into account that on that day the weather was not suitable for the beach, pool nor for taking landscape photos.
This is a view along the oceanside promenade.

Hello Mariusz,
This is graphically nice, partly thanks to the conversion to B&W. The long line of tall lampposts are the immediately most eye-catching features, but in the long run the silhouettes of small boats floating on the sun's reflections are probably even nicer.

A very nice view of the waterfront here, you handled the lighting well and along with the choice for B&W it created a great contrast between light and shadows. I like the repetition of the lamppost and they stand out very well and sharp from the sky.

Looks as a wonderful walk along the promenade, though weather was not best - managed a good B&W photo that brought out good details and objects.
The juxtaposition of the lamp-posts offered a sense of depth here.

Hello friend Mariusz.
The decision to turn this image to B&W is very successful, it gives great strength to the composition and it looks like a timeless image, I love the perspective of the line of streetlights and the brightness of the water with the backlight of the boats.
Certainly each of the islands that make up the Canary archipelago is different, I still have to get to know Hierro and Fuerteventura, but I do not rule out returning to some of the views.
Good sharpness and lighting, the grayscale is great.
