Photographer's Note

This is a view of Palma from El Arenal, during the sunset. Palma de Mallorca is the capital of the Balearic Islands and is the economic and cultural hub of the island. Located on the south coast of Mallorca, it also forms an important holiday resort and commercial port. Palma offers the island's best choice of hotels, restaurants. Although all the tourists, agitation that 'assaults' the city during the whole year, the city remains old and charming as it was at the good old times.
Served by an airport that moves millions of visitors during the year, Palma pays an important role on the Island's tourim industry.
At Palma we may find near the bay The Stock Exchange, the Royal Palace, Bellver Castle and the huge and beautiful Cathedral. More in the middle of thec ity, we may find the charming little and tight street remaining 'almost' as they were many years ago. The major part of the island's population leaves in Palma (around 325.000), although during summer this number can be raised up to 600.00, even with this movement and agitation Palma has been recently voted the best place to leave in Spain. And in fact it's true that we may find life quality there, not only by the amount of luxury cars and houses but mostly by the spectacular views, nice weather, simpathy of it's inhabitants...

Well, I hope you enjoy the view!

P.S.: The horizontal line at the top of the photo is the result of a plane passing by, associated to the long exposure (30 sec aproximately)
