Photographer's Note

Formentera :

the smallest island of Balearic islands is located at about 3 nautic milles south of Ibiza. 23 km long and 17 km broad (for the maximum distances), it can be only 3 km broad in a part of it. The area is about 83 km².
The main activities for the 9000 inhabitants are farming and tourism.
Nature is well protected and not a lot blighted by concret buildings, except at Es Pujols.
The coast alternate between cliffs (where set watchtowers and lighthouses) and little coves. In the middle of the island set long sand beaches.
Formentera was a famous place for hippy culture in the 70's.

Cala Saona :

This quiet little cove has a little beach of 140 m long. Despite of some touristic buildings, the place is rather calm, even in the high season.
On the rocks set holds for the fishing boats.

it was a sunny november day... but the water was a bit cold ;-)
