Photographer's Note
I didn't quite fit the top of the tower into the frame...Almost. I wanted to quickly grab this shot before the father and child walked away, so I couldn't pay attention to the smaller details.
But I still like the scene. This Cathedral in Zaragoza is one of the largest I have ever seen...its just massive, like the size of a few city blocks. Photos will never do it justice.
In the WS are a couple more photos just for interest, if you're interested :)

Hello Craig,
Both WS give us a good idea of the enormous size of the cathedral, and both have a nice human presence, but no doubt this is the most attractive view (in spite of the lost fragment at the top of the tower). The father and child make a lot of difference to the view, along with the many flower pots. Imagine that maybe 10-15 years ago you would have waited restlessly for them to leave. ;-)
Best regards,
Gert

Hello Craig, the size of the cathedral are very apparent from looking at all three shots; it must be one of the largest in the world(?)
Your main post emphasises the size from the point of view that you used here.
Colourful foreground, and the people animate the view very nicely.
Excellent sharp quality.
Kind regards, Jean.

Hi Craig,
The presence of the persons is animating the scene. The point of view is showing the details of the Zaragoza cathedral. The light is enhancing the beauty of the colors. Have a nice day.

Hello Craig,
I find your "Altered Image #1" also a value fot main picture.
You sit middle in summer with a nice foreground with flowers
Excellent presentation with old buildings.
Everything very sharp and clear.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hi Craig
A fine series of images showing the grandeur of this building. I like the way the light reflected off the bright-coloured walls makes the sky slightly underexposed and therefore deep inky blue. The main image is my favourite because of the well-spotted foreground interest - both the plant pots and the two people. So never mind the tower top. :-)
Best wishes

Hello Craig,
I remember that Zaragoza Cathedral is indeed huge.
It is already an achievement to get a picture of the top of the tower together with the different flower pots.
The square (or street) in front of it is also very wide and I've never actually seen it full of people despite the fact that the cathedral is a popular place of pilgrimage for many Spaniards.
Best regards, Paul

Hi Craig, your considerations mirror mine that I wrote in my last post, very often no photos will do justice to the beauty of being on the spot, although you have posted 3 truly brilliant top quality perspectives, do not worry if the tip of the bell tower is missing, on this site we see worse every day..ahaha .. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano

Hi Craig,
I think the flowers are so decorative that they would be sufficient for an interesting foreground but you would need to give up on the perfectly straight perspective if you wanted to include the whole tower, I suppose.
Lovely series of photos. This is a part of Spain which I didn't have a chance to visit yet but I think I could recognize these unique towers.
Great work,
M

Hi Craig,
Your photo gives us a good feel for the height and width of this massive building. The flowers in the foreground add some interest too. It looks like you've straightened out the converging lines on the towers. I usually squash the photo vertically a bit when I straighten out the perspective of upward-looking shots. That way the towers would look less stretched vertically.

Hello Craig, I know well the view of this cathedral. And I remember that you were on the tower and I didn't :(.
You manage to show the splendour of it. I do not care so much for the father and kid, there are many people that animate the view. I am impressed by the beautiful pansies, my favourite spring flowers. They are so charming.

Hello Craig,
The missing top might be a slight issue with this view, but the cathedral itself, and the interesting foreground make up for it. The flowerpots really balance out the shot, and of course you got the cute boy and his father in there, as well. The size of the cathedral is definitely impressive. Take care!

Hello again,
It is an almost perfect photograph. I don't think that the missing top is such a great problem after all. The lot of details to be observed including the kid and father is more than enough.
Best Wishes,
Gy.

Hi Craig.
Impeccable and perfect composition, I love this vertical POV that allows you to capture the beautiful floral decoration in the foreground and a great view of the Basilica, I love the verticality obtained from the towers, which I suppose you have corrected with some lens correction program .
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; They are managed perfectly, in this beautiful image.
Nice job. I like very much.
You have a good day.
Very best regards.
Luis.
