Photographer's Note

Again I put some air in my archive. In fact, between Spain and China was only one month gap, and I visited ten towns - when to show them?
Luckily, now I have been chained to computer for longer time, so there will be more of China.

Expo 2008 was an international exposition held in 2008 in Zaragoza, with the theme of "Water and Sustainable Development". The exposition was placed in a meander of the river Ebro.

Zaragoza, is the administrative and financial capital of the autonomous community of Aragon and Spain's fifth most populous city.

The exhibition’s most emblematic buildings were the Water Tower, an 80-metre-high transparent building designed by Enrique de Teresa to evoke a drop of water, Zaha Hadid's Bridge Pavilion, and the river aquarium.

After nine years, some of the buildings are still used, unfortunately Zaha Hadid bridge seems abandoned. probably the aquarium is also closed, I do not know.
I found these pavillons with strong colours very attractive.

The impact is stronger if you see bigger beta picture.

I hope that Sergio (sacimar) will like it, he showed us wonderful pictures from Expo Zaragoza.
