Photographer's Note

Castillo Colomares (Colomares Castle) a truly unusual monument - this masterpiece of Byzantine, Roman, Gothic and Mudejar architecture pays homage to Christopher Columbus and his discovery of America. Full of steps, arches, colonnades and spires, it stands on the hill that runs between Benalmadena Pueblo and the coastal zone of the Costa del Sol, Spain.
