Photographer's Note

The Flamenco is a Spanish musical genre with strong, rhythmic undertones and is often accompanied with a similarly impassioned style of dance involving vigorous movements, such as hand-clapping and foot-stamping.
The Flamenco was very influenced by the Gitano culture, but that it has deeper root in the Moorish musical culture, influence of Arabs and Jews.
The Flamenco embodies a complex musical and cultural tradition. Although considered part of the culture of Spain in general, flamenco actually originates from one region: Andalusia.
