Photographer's Note

Placeta de San Gregorio, El Albaicín, Granada.

This small square is near the bottom of the hill that hosts the old Moorish quarter of Granada, called El Albaicín. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These two were part of a crowd watching some street musicians (whom I may show later), though at this point there seemed to be more personal issues on their minds. I was attracted by the mateship displayed, and thought how unlikely such a scene would be in the uptight UK.
