Almuņecar is a town located in the Costa Tropical, Granada Province.
Almuņecar was founded by the Phoenicians to 3000 years and how the rest of this coast was invaded and occupied by the Romans and Moors, in the eighteenth century the area was a scene of raids and landings of pirates and buccaneers
There are many monuments and historic buildings to prove the history and occupation of the city.
