Photographer's Note
I am surprised I haven't uploaded this one previously. These Islamic Gardens are one of 4 World Heritage Sites in the city, making Cordoba the location with the most sites in the world. The full Spanish name is Alcázar de los Reyes Cristianos. ("Castle of the Christian Monarchs"). The gardens themselves are known as the Jardines del Alcázar. (Gardens of the castle).

Most magnificent sight of the rows of trees meticulously trimmed creating a "boulevard" to walk between, Chris.
Fine depth and clear objects in multi green toones, with people alongside's.
Good evening,
Ike

Bonjour Chris,
La longueur de l'allée crée de la profondeur et de la perspective. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails des jardins. Les couleurs et le netteté sont très bonne. Bonne journée.

Hello Chris,
Yes, this photo's absence surprises me too. It's a very eye-catching composition of the two long rows of bushes, a pool in the middle and several persons animating the scene. There is a deep mainly green perspective under the blue sky, and the strong light has enhanced and brightened the colours.
Regards,
Gert

Hello Chris,
You chose the classic angle with a fantastic result.
The ornamental trees provide a nice hedge.
Addition of the people are perfect for the scale.
Perfect perspective and depth picture.
Everything yet nicer through the the blue sky.
Very well done, TFS.
Best regards,
John.

Hello Chris, Impressive view of these gardens, with the trees cut in an interesting way, like big columns. I was also there but I do not remember if I posted any photos. Excellent perspective.

Hello Chris,
A great view of these gardens with the double row of tall trees on either side of the pond and the narrow paths. I really like the different shades of green and the different shapes and textures of the trees. They stand out so well from the blue sky.

Hello Chris,
This is an impressive row of tall, and well-manicured trees. They look great next to the deep, blue sky, and the people in the garden look small. The central fountains are nice, too. Take care!

Hello Chris,
Interesting picture from Islamic Gardens. Cordoba has the most UNESCO heritage sites, more than Rome. I like composition , nice colours and good sharpness. Thank you for informative note.
Fine presentation

Hi Chris
After seeing this good Alcázar photo I checked mine - only one from here. Maybe next time I do a revisit to Andalucia I'll also add some more.
A good symmetrical photo looking down the lines of trees. How much work must it take to keep them even in shape?
cheers

Hi Chris,
I really don't remember much from Cordoba except the Mezquita and the bridge. But I did walk around a lot there so maybe it is a sign to revisit my archives from Andalusia.
Amazing garden the trees were so nicely shaped. Fantastic colors.
Excellent work,
M

Hello Chris,
Ha!Ha!Ha! with the rich 'photo archive' you have ... I'm not surprised at all. I'll be very SURPRISED , if you found nothing !!!
Like this one ... I'm feeling the heat already by looking at this picture. Sunny clear blue sky and bright sunlight on the row of trees acting as 'castle' ... most of all the cooling effect of the water feature. It's Amazing!
Well deserved to be as World Heritage Sites.
I wonder I do have a similar tree in my garden. Maybe If I prune and trim to the shapes shown ... will my garden become W.H.S , just a thought !
Stunning photos ... seen from the link , included yours!
Cheers!

Hello Chris,
You surprised yourself and me, by not posting this fine photograph.
The opposing rows of trees make a superb walkway, full of textural interest and creating an excellent, linear perspective.
My warm regards,
Bev :-)
